Chief Martindale Diner, Columbia County

Manufactured in Paterson, NJ by the Silk City Mfg Co in 1958. Located at the Route 23 exit of the Taconic Parkway. The food's not bad.

You are in an area where Janet and I spent many summers (Lakeville and Salisbury, CT just across the border). Try going up to Massachusetts from Copake Falls in NY near Route 22 [Bash-Bish Falls worth a hike). Lower or upper parking lot or if you can park at state line and walk down hill to path to falls. Drive down dirt roads to Riga Lake and on into Salisbury. Belle can handle it (drive slowly). A good nose or a good map helps....
