Kentuck Knob

About 15 minutes from Fallingwater, on the other side of Ohiopyle is Kentuck Knob, a 1956 "Usonian" home built for $95,000. The original owners sold it for $600,000 in 1986. Now it belongs to Lord Peter Palumbo (sp?). It sits just below the crest of the hill. The front entrance is windowless, all the exposure is to the south side. 2300 square feet on one level, it has a lovely linear flow, like a walk through the woods. Cozier than Fallingwater. Same low ceilings and minus sized furniture.
