Sabine and I have known Fred and Janet since 1979 when we lived in Marcellus. They lived on Elizabeth Street in Skaneateles then. Janet taught in the same elementary school that she does now. Fred took an APL class I was giving at Syracuse University - that's how we met.
This is East Lake Street, Skaneateles, which becomes NY Route 41A, a beautiful drive indeed along Skaneateles Lake, ending in a junction with Route 41 just north of Homer, NY. I'll be driving that route on Friday, a backroads trip down to the Hudson Valley.

PS Nice to have Bob make a visit but Janet and I wish Sabine could have been along. Cats to take precedence however...(heh)
